GTC at “The Best of Palestine ” Exhibition

The Guidance and Training Center for the Child and family (GTC) participated in "The Best of Palestine" exhibition.

The Guidance and Training Center for the Child and family (GTC) participated in "The Best of Palestine" exhibition which came as a part of the Palestinian Investment Conference (PIC) from 22 – 26 May 2008. The exhibition was inaugurated by the Palestinian Prime Minister Mr. Salam Fayyad and had more than 50 participants from different sectors. The participation of GTC gave a chance for both interested VIPs and participants in the conference to get to know about GTC and its services.

In addition, and after the PIC has ended, the Governor of Bethlehem reopened the exhibition for public and locals for another three days which gave the chance for them to know better GTC and its services.

The participation of GTC came through presenting different embroidery work that is done through the Income Generating Project. Through this project GTC provides income generating activities to women patients and mothers of patients. This is used both as therapeutic activity and at the same time for income generation. This activity helps provide income to the participating women and their families.
